		<description>Well, the problem is that this Ubuntu distribution is 8.04, which is probably the most widely-used Ubuntu distro on servers. There are apparently some PHP alternatives, so i guess it would make sense to use that.</description>

		<description>This is not a bug on WP&#039;s part. The problem is that the Ubuntu distribution you&#039;re probably using has the official GD library instead of the &#039;bundled&#039; GD. The official library on Ubuntu since Jaunty (i think) for some reason is incomplete and lacks the imagerotate() function. I&#039;ve had this problem with Drupal 6, too.</description>
